Bagotville Fighter Squadron Facility
3 Wing Bagotville fighter squadron facility is a state-of-the-art complex designed and constructed by MDB JV.
3 Wing Bagotville Facility
We acknowledge that MDB-JV constructs and operates at the intersection of Nitassinan, the ancestral territory of the Innu people, and Nionwentsio, the traditional territory of the Huron-Wendat nation. We recognize that these Nations have been the caretakers of the land since time immemorial, and we stand in solidarity with the claims of Indigenous peoples for their territorial and ancestral rights. Nionwentsio and Nitissinan are now home to a diverse group of inhabitants, including First Nations, Inuit, Metis and Settler people who are all responsible for respecting and preserving the land.
This infrastructure at 3 Wing Bagotville, along with the facilities being built at 4 Wing Cold Lake, will support the long-term maintenance and operation of 88 CF35A aircraft being purchased by the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) through the Future Fighter Capability Project (FFCP).

The Bagotville facility will host two tactical fighter squadrons and will cover approximately 30,000 m2, providing space for daily operations, maintenance, administration, mission planning, and simulator training.
