  • Commitment

    The EllisDon-EBC Joint Venture (MDB JV) shares the Federal government’s Department of National Defence (DND) and Defence Construction Canada’s (DCC) commitment to the increase of investment in Indigenous-owned businesses and opportunities for Indigenous workers.The Project is a landmark investment in the region and presents an enormous opportunity to equally invest in the skills, experience, and economic benefit of local Indigenous communities.

  • Working together

    The project team is engaging with First Nations in the Saguenay Lac-St Jean and surrounding areas. These relationships and collaborations will ensure that the project optimizes Indigenous inclusion.

  • Indigenous Benefits Plan

    MDB JV is committed to providing full and fair opportunity to local Indigenous businesses to participate in supplying goods and services to the Project and delivering its procurement function in an open, fair, and transparent manner. EllisDon and EBC are both proud members of the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business (CCAB). MDB JV will share employment opportunities, skilled and unskilled craft, as well as professional roles with Indigenous individuals, communities and businesses.
